Internet Safety
At Brampton ‘The Ellis' C of E Primary School, we have a dedicated internet safety team, whom you may contact with any concerns regarding your children. The aim of this team is to develop all areas of internet safety across the school, including: the curriculum and the contribution of children – particularly via our internet safety school council; safeguarding, which also aims to further engage parents in internet safety; technical aspects; and governance. We take the teaching of internet safety seriously, right from foundation stage through to year six and have a comprehensive scheme of work, which meets the requirements of The Education for a Connected World Framework: a key document which supports the aims of the governments Internet Safety Strategy. We are also committed to providing the highest standard of safeguarding when it comes to protecting and supporting children with their use of the internet. We have achieved the 360 Safe Progression to Safety Online certificate of progress. Here, you will find links to relevant school policies and links to sources of advice from external agencies.
