On Friday 11th October 9 girls from Year 3 and 4 took part in a football tournament at Rawmarsh school. The girls represented the school brilliantly, showing amazing attitudes and putting in 100% effort. The team managed to win 3 out of their 4 games, coming second in the tournament and progressing through to the next round. Lola in goal was often quite lonely as attacks from Ellie and Amelia were keeping our scores so high! All of the girls played really well and they showed a real sense of teamwork.
Mia - "I was feeling nervous about playing against other schools but I'm really glad I took part. It was really fun!"
Lily - "I enjoyed cheering on the team when I was a sub. It was great to look at how everyone else was playing so I could give them feedback at half time"
