Welcome to Puffin Class
Puffin Class is made up of 30 Year 2 children and our topics are Explorers, Castles and Africa. Our classroom ethos promotes the whole school values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience and we become more independent learners over the year in preparation for our transition to KS2. We will always try our best and support each other, even when something is challenging.
​We have a love of reading at our school. Children are encouraged to read as much as possible during the week and bring their book bags to school every day.
​PE days are on Tuesday and Thursdays. This year, children will need to bring their P.E kits to school to get changed into. Indoor P.E is on a Tuesday and Outdoor P.E is every Thursday.
Please remember to bring a water bottle to school every day.
Mrs Furniss will be in class Monday and Tuesday, and Miss Gaynor will be in class Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
If you have any further questions, please email BOTH Mrs Furniss and Miss Gaynor, so we can keep consistency across the week.
