Welcome to Puffin Class

 

Puffin Class is made up of 28 Year 2 children supported by myself and Mrs Woodward. Throughout the Autumn term we will focus on the topic "Polar Explorers" which will filter into all lessons across the curriculum. In the Spring term our topic will be "Africa" and then finally in Summer we will learn about "Castles". Our classroom ethos promotes the whole school values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience and we become more independent learners over the year in preparation for our transition to KS2.  We will always try our best and support each other, even when something is challenging.

 

We love reading at school, so we encourage children to read much as possible at home, whether this be their phonics book or topic reading.

 

Things to bring to school:

*Water bottle

*PE Kit – Wednesday (indoor) and Friday (outdoor)

 

You are welcome to pop into class with your child on a Friday morning to complete a morning task with them or share a story.
