Welcome to Oystercatchers!

 

Oystercatchers is one of two (and a half) year four classes at Brampton Ellis Primary. All of Oystercatchers are year four children. The class teacher is Mrs Cunningham, who is well supported by Mrs Savage. Our classroom rules are Respect, Responsibility and Resilience; three values that are shared throughout our school. We also aspire to be our best and let our lights shine by always being GOLD standard in being prepared to learn, moving around school and when we line up – again, values shared throughout our school. Our classroom is a positive and nurturing environment in which children can excel and a love of learning is developed. Throughout the year, we will have lots of fun learning about new and exciting topics. Each term, we will read a novel alongside our class reading for pleasure book.

Our P.E. days are twice a week and are updated as necessary on Class Dojo, but please do ensure that your child has their P.E. kit each day. The children will also have the excitement of a term of swimming lessons – again this will be updated on Class Dojo. Swimming will take place between Christmas and Easter.
