Welcome to Oystercatchers Class!

 

Oystercatchers are one of three Y4 classes at Brampton Ellis Primary. Our teacher is Mrs Chilton, and our year group TAs are Mrs Evans, Mrs Walling and Miss Levitt. Our classroom ethos is Respect, Responsibility and Resilience; three values that are shared throughout our school. Our classroom is a positive and nurturing environment in which children can excel and a love of learning is developed. Throughout the year, we will have lots of fun learning about new and exciting topics. Each term, we will read a novel alongside our class reading for pleasure book. In the Autumn term our novel is 'Iron Man' by Ted Hughes, in the Spring term our novel is 'Journey to the River Sea' by Eva Ibbotson and finally in the Summer term our novel is 'Viking Boy' by Tony Bradman.

Our Indoor PE day is on Friday and our Outdoor PE day is on Tuesday. Children must bring suitable PE kit on both days. We begin our swimming lessons in the Summer term.
